As will come as no surprise to those who regularly view moi's little website, the end of the year means a de rigeur visit to AsiaSF.  Moi is ambivalent about letting Tintin go there alone, not because moi fears for his honor, but because the overabundance of decoration, especially tinsel, for the holidays often obscures the performers moi has tasked him to record and he returns tired and a little frustrated, poor lamb. 
Moi sent him anyway.

Suffice to say that the tinsel did its worst in the flash phtotos and the following are the pictures moi could salvage.  Parenthetically, Tintin had more success with his iPhone, which does not have a flash

And so it continued, with greater or lesser impact

Meanwhile, the business of ensuring that customers' orders were filled continued apace

And as the countdown came and went, the entire cast assembled onstage to help celebrate
