And now for what moi believes you are all eagerly awaiting, the actual competition.  Moi supposes that we could dispose of the entire competitive aspect of the event, but then we would just be a bunch of trannies flitting around Los Angeles and, while that would no doubt be fun, it really wouldn't make sure that there was a Tgirl able to go out and represent the community, would it?  Moi thought not.

So first up the competitors

Then, after their Personal Style presentation, they went to the videotape for their Media Advocacy presentations, which allows you to see faces up close

Strangely, they all seem to be wearing the same unusual headdress

And finally (and what would a pageant be without it?) the Evening Gown presentation

The Big Kahuna of the night was Karla, Miss Quest 2009

After it was all over, there was food a-plenty, and goody bags for the contestants

People mingled and schmoozed
