Having seated moi's self comfortably in the front row, and having established a BFF relationship with moi's adjacent audience member, Darla, moi was ready for the pageant.  However, as you are probably familiar with by now, costume changes backstage lead to longeurs in the presentations onstage. Hence the need to provide interpolated entertainment to keep the audience from becoming restive.  This is that entertainment

First up was a production number, featuring scantily clad guys, the last Quest pageant winner, Maria Roman and, finally, the contestants got into the act

The event was hosted by A.J. King and Alexis Rivera, herself the first Quest Pageant winner

As is so often the case, an award was presented, this time to Mario Perez, of the LA County Office of AIDS Policy

Then it was time for Elizabeth and Frandy, two of the Bionic Chicks, to strut theeir stuff, accompanied by two guys wearing cats on their shoulders (or so it appeared)
