Moi was looking forward to a quiet evening at the club, Club Shine, that is but, moi must confess, moi was sorely disappointed from a tranquility point of view.  Moi's tranquility aside, however, moi's journalistic bent (no jokes, please - moi has heard them all) came out (again, no jokes) and moi had a gay (ditto) old time documenting the action, since moi is of a chronicling bent (moi is warning you for the last time!).  The evening was full of incident, these same incidents forming the hook for this page; hence the title.

Oh sure, the evening started quietly enough, quiet enough for moi to get some primo POSING in.

And moi is SURE that Jamie, Nika and Kristen mean no harm

And a buffet bespeaks of a genteel and sedate evening, even if it goes straight to the hips

And Bianca and Janelle (left) and Kimmy, with main squeeze (above), were the pictures of quiet elegance and repose, respectively

But there was a certain moi ne sais pas in the eyes of Kristen's friend, Sophia, which led moi to think that things could get interesting

And that, as they say, is how it's done - She-nanigans. 

Inside, more she-nanigans.  Altough relative calm obtained in these pictures of Angel and Nica (left) and Kristen and Michelle (right), it is clear that Michelle is ready for fun.

And it was only with some difficulty....

Meanwhile, outside, things were heating up.

A fracas broke out between two girls, words were exchanged...

....there was a brief tussle.....

...but they made up over a shared ciggie...

...and before moi knew it, they were all friendly again.  Awww the nice!
