Erika's Annex Page 595 - Ona - Dragon Ladies

The theme for the evening's coronation was "Red Dragon Empress" and so the initial presentation of the Court required that we all wear something Asian (is that moi's cup o' tea, or what?). So the previous day, moi had taken moi's self off the Chinatown and picked up this red cheomsang dress with a golden dragon motif, the better to make moi's self fit in with the theme. Others on the Court has sought different paths to Asian-ness, made easier by the fact that most of them WERE Asian to begin with, while moi was only Cauc-Asian. And so the Court assembled for the presentation. .

Among those assembling were (Left to right, top to bottom) Charlene, Isobel and Jill Ann, Vi, Darlene, Amber Alert and Carmen. Spot the non-Asian. .

Then there we were, lined up in two lines to salute Amanda, the Red Dragon Empress. After that, opportunities for pictures were perforce limited until the entertainment, since moi was part of the show itself and it would have been unseemly to snap pictures at that time. .
