Erika's Annex Page 586 - A Night at The Palms
Along Santa Monica Boulevard, near La
Cienega, there is a small lezzie bar called The
Palms, or for the dyslexic, The Plams, where
the court's Show King and SHow Queen
event was due to start at 7 (or was it 8?) p.m.
Needless to say, moi suspected that on time
would be a flexible concept, and so moi
dispatched Tintin to record the event. Moi
was gratified at moi's prescience, since Tintin
tells moi that the event did not begin until 10
p.m. Try hanging about in heels for four
hours - not moi, mister, not moi. Anyway, the
delay allowed Tintin to capture the crowd as
it waited with bated breath for the Show King
and Queen contest to begin.

The venue (above) and one of the
eponymous trees (see left). not one
of nature's finest specimens, but
oh well, they tried.

At first, considerable discussion ensued as to whether
the crowd wanted to POSE for Tintin, instead of moi.

"Do you think we
should POSE for
Tintin, Miss Coco?"
inquired Nycki
.
"Oh, I guess" replied Miss Coco,
affecting ennui.

"Very nice! Thank you."

"You're welcome. Don't
mention it"

"OK!"

"Jennifer and
Nycki!"

"Yes?" "Yes?"

"You see those
Queens of the
Universe milling
around on Santa
Monica Boulevard?"

"These ones?"

"Yes, please get them
to POSE"

"OK. Will do."

"Anyone for indoor POSING while we wait (and
wait) for the show to start?"
