Moi may have mentioned, in passing, on the last page that moi had the
shared responsibility to sell tickets to, and affix armbands on, the
assembled masses, prior to their entry to the pageant proper, and
subsequent to their purchase of tickets. An unforeseen consequence of
this duty (happily entered into, moi might mention) was that moi was
MIA when it came to recording the first section of the pageant, viz.,
National Costumes. Consequently, moi's coverage of this portion of the
pageant is, of necessity, somewhat truncated. But here it is anyway.
