Erika's Annex Page 484 - Boo's Do

Forever in search of new experiences to satisfy moi's vast viewing audience (moi knows who both of you are), moi enticed a couple of Tgirl friends to attend with moi the opening of an art show of a friend of moi's. This friend has featured occasionally in these chronicles, usually in the role of SOME DUDE. Tonight, however, he is playing the role of SOME ARTISTIC DUDE, which is, depending on your point of view, a step up or a step down. Whatever, anyone who can have a gallery display in a barber shop is ace in moi's book.

Moi whiled away the early part of the evening with this girl, who moi found to be rather superficial and two dimensional

Pretty soon, moi's friends arrived and , of course, that was the occasion of much air kissing and, needless to say, POSING

and Gunnar (tonight's SOME GERMAN DUDE)

Then Tuesday and moi

After a brief moment to make sure that the cameras were functioning properly, it was time to head inside

Once inside, moi inspected the ART

But enough about high ART (and it was about ten feet off the ground)

Pretty soon, finger food was attracting fingers, as such food is supposed to do

Moi even encountered an homage (it's an artsy fartsy term) to the artist

But what of he whose work must be admired?

Boo, POSING with moi (no indifference there)

Boo, affecting indifference to his creations

Seeing as this was a show, there was stuff to buy

And crass commercialism reared its head , with some clumsy attempts at product placement

Hey! That is MOI'S job, thank you very much

Meanwhile, moi took some additional opportunities for POSING, as well as revealing the price schedule for the barber shop (now THAT is crass commercialism - observe and learn, Gunnar)

Moi doesn't want you to think that moi's construction of this page was a "by the numbers" exercise, although moi has to confess that moi did POSE by the numbers

So there you have it, a one DUDE show, by one of moi's dearest friends. How then to wrap up this artistic event? Why, moi believes that the artist his own self should have the honor
