After moi's excursion to The Port, moi felt obliged to make sure the old place (i.e., The Lodge) was still there and still in operation. Moi can never be too careful about things like that. Moi wishes to render faithful accounts of moi's exploits and so moi must constantly guard against misinformation. Moi performs reality checks, as in the one shown to the right, which confirms that at least the outer fabric of The Lodge remains intact.
