Erika's Annex Page 420 - Are We There Yet?

If slightly adapted, this sign from a car
wash in West Hollywood could serve as
moi's own mission statement (leave out the
bit about car care - wash your own). This
creed extends to showing out of town
visitors a good time. Hence, when Mika
said she would be in town for the weekend,
we headed to West Holly, with Natalie
doing the driving.
|
|
|
|
|
The plan? Rendezvous at the Yukon, carpool to West Holly, park, stroll the Boulevard,
check out the nightspots, perhaps have dessert, and then repair to The Lodge. As you might
imagine, with Tgirls involved, things didn't go EXACTLY according to plan.

1. Rendezvous at the Yukon

Natalie's keys are in there somewhere

Let's get the show on the road,
girlfriend!

you kidding me?"

Not actually strolling, but POSING,
with commercial tie-in

|
5. Check out the Nightspots*

* and here is where we encountered a Tgirl moment, since Mika had arrived without picture ID and
hence was precluded from entering The Abbey, which she wanted to see, but it turned out she had been
there before anyway, so, oh well, never mind.

But Natalie and moi went in anyway, leaving poor Mika stranded on the sidewalk, but just
for a few minutes because, deep down, Natalie and moi are nice peops

Mika gets caffeinated (in the interests of full
disclosure, moi had a delicious fruit tart, but moi
failed to photograph it)
